The weight is gone, but the feelings aren't.

Society often treats major weight loss strictly as a physical victory. But if you are living it, you know the psychological reality is much more complicated.

There is no right or wrong way to have arrived here. Whether your health journey was supported by medical care like bariatric surgery, prescribed GLP-1 therapies, or a doctor-backed lifestyle approach, the emotional aftermath can feel incredibly isolating. You might be physically smaller, but you are carrying a new kind of heavy.

You don't have to navigate this transition alone. This group provides a safe, validating, and judgment-free space to process your "after" with people who truly understand.

  • This space is for anyone whose health journey was supported by medical care—whether that was bariatric surgery, prescribed GLP-1 therapies (like Wegovy, Zepbound, or Ozempic), or a physician-guided lifestyle approach. We focus on internal healing rather than physical shrinking. If you are feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or anxious in your post-weight-loss body, this group is designed for you.

Please note: Due to mental health licensing regulations, this group is currently only open to individuals physically located in Utah and Texas.

  • This therapy group is designed to treat and support symptoms related to:

    • Body Dysmorphia & Image Distress: Reconciling the disconnect between the mirror and your mind, and processing feelings around loose skin.

    • Anxiety & "Food Noise": Managing the deep-seated fear of weight regain, hyper-vigilance around food, and social anxiety in dining settings.

    • Identity & Relational Shifts: Navigating changing dynamics with partners and friends, and processing new, often uncomfortable attention from others.

    • Grief & Loss: Mourning your old body, your old routines, or the loss of food as a primary emotional coping mechanism.

    • Start Date: June 2nd

    • End Date: July 7th

    • Time: 6pm - 7:30pm MT

    • Location: Secure Telehealth. Participants must be physically located in Utah or Texas.

  • To ensure everyone has time to share, connect, and receive clinical support, this cohort is strictly capped at 8 participants. Keeping the group small creates an intimate, safe environment where you can truly get to know one another over the 6 weeks without feeling lost in a crowd.

  • The investment for the complete 6-week therapy group is $400. Because this is a "closed cohort"—meaning the exact same small group of people meets every week to build deep trust, safety, and connection—your payment secures your dedicated spot for the entire program rather than acting as a per-session fee. To protect the group dynamic, we ask that you commit to all six weeks, and we do not offer refunds or prorated rates for missed sessions.

Using Out-of-Network Insurance & HSA/FSA: Because this is a clinical therapy group, you may be eligible for potential reimbursement through your out-of-network insurance benefits. While we cannot guarantee that your specific insurance plan will cover these sessions, here is how the process works:

    • You pay the $400 upfront to secure your spot (you are welcome to use an HSA or FSA card!).

    • At the end of the program, we will provide you with a detailed "Superbill" (using CPT Code 90853).

    • You submit this document directly to your insurance provider to request reimbursement.

    • Please note: Insurance companies process claims based on your individual out-of-network benefits, and they will only ever reimburse you for the specific dates you actually attend, regardless of your upfront payment for the full 6-week cohort.

  • Because this is a clinical therapy group based on building trust and connection, we do require participants to have their cameras on during our sessions. Being able to see each other’s faces helps us create a truly safe, cohesive, and supportive space, just like we would if we were sitting together in an office.

  • Your privacy is top priority. Our sessions are held on a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Before the group begins, every participant signs a strict confidentiality agreement, committing to the golden rule of group therapy: What is shared in the group, stays in the group. We work together in week one to establish group guidelines that ensure everyone feels safe and respected.

  • You are not required to have an individual therapist to join this group! For many, this group provides the exact level of support they need. However, group therapy is not a replacement for intensive, one-on-one psychiatric care or crisis support. If you already have an individual therapist, this group is a fantastic supplement to your ongoing work.

  • The consultation is simply a casual, no-pressure "meet and greet" via video call. It gives us a chance to say hello, discuss what you are hoping to get out of the group, and make sure the group’s focus aligns with your current needs. It is not a deep clinical assessment—just a quick conversation to ensure this is the right space for you before you commit! (Think of it as a vibe-check)
